960 Series

The TBM 960 sets new standards for excellence as the latest member of Daher’s TBM very fast turboprop family. Encompassing technology that is at the forefront of general aviation aircraft, the TBM 960 is the ultimate combination of performance, comfort, and safety. Coming equipped with the Pratt & Whitney Canada’s latest addition to their renowned PT6 line of engines, the PT6E-66XT, the TBM 960 makes precision piloting through all phases of flight a simple process. From the propeller to the turbine parameters, the PT6E-66XT’s control is provided entirely by the master system: the Engine and Propeller Electronic Control System (EPECS). This system optimizes the powerplants performance throughout the flight envelope while reducing pilot workload by integrating all functions and protecting the life of the engine. The TBM 960 retains some of the groundbreaking features found in the TBM 940, such as the autothrottle and the HomeSafe Autoland system, while introducing luxury advancements within the cabin. Touchscreen controlled electronically dimmable windows replace the standard window shades, LED lighting is lined along the cabin ceiling, and passenger cabin temperature is easily managed with a touchscreen controller. Performance, safety, and comfort are the pillars of Daher’s newest innovation that takes the evolution of the TBM very fast turboprop family once step further.

The TBM 960’s Prestige cabin incorporates the latest updates in style and comfort, based on experience with previous TBM versions. Style features include a new seat design developed with the help of an ergonomist, offering the best comfort even on long-distance flights. Keeping connected and entertained while aloft is enhanced by SiriusXM satellite music and radio, while 14/24- volt power outlets with USB interface allow for the linkup of mobile devices. Optional storage cabinets are available to make every flight an enjoyable experience, supplemented by cupholders, headset holders for each passenger, and coat hangers in the back.

A new environmental control system is featured in the TBM 960. This system is controlled by an easily accessible touchscreen controller allowing passengers to easily adjust the cabin temperature to their preferred setting. The same touchscreen controller also manages the cabins ambient lighting, another new feature in the TBM family. At night, LED ramp lighting along the cabin ceiling provides general illumination which can be complemented by individual reading lights. Manual window shades in the TBM 960 have been replaced with electronically dimmable windows with variable shading.
