Authorized Install Center.
AVEX Aviation is the industry leader in G600 TXi installations, having completed over 200 installations on all TBM models, including the TBM 700A, 700B, 700C2, and the 850 Legacy. Maintaining more than a quarter of the TBM fleet has provided AVEX with a significant advantage in the installation market. As experts in Socata systems and wiring, we were able to create proprietary software that allows us to simultaneously inspect the connectivity of over 500 wires during the testing phase of the installation. Previously, this had to be carried out manually, resulting in several weeks of downtime for the aircraft.
Each installation is designed specifically for your aircraft and its requirements. Our avionics team performs a preliminary panel inspection that includes an in-depth review of the aircraft’s existing equipment list. Based on this analysis, we are able to tailor a quote to your exact specifications and equipment desired. During the installation process, we will discuss the following additional options: Jeppesen ChartView, ADS-B Compliance, RVSM Certification, USB Charger solutions, the position of equipment, and more.
These discussions will be used to generate and provide a customized quote. The options are then reviewed and clarified in a video conference to address any unanswered questions. After you accept the customized configuration, we will begin the final stages of preparation by discussing panel layout options. Prior to your arrival, we will submit installation details to the DER (Designated Engineering Representative of the FAA) and panel layout approval will precede panel manufacturing. Typically, the preliminary clearance procedure takes approximately two weeks.
Throughout the installation process, you will be updated weekly on the status of your G-600 TXi installation through progress reports and a personalized blog page. After completion, AVEX offers individualized ground and flight orientation with one of our experienced pilots.
As a courtesy, we also provide sales services for your outdated avionics equipment. Our avionics sales team will offer your removed components on a variety of avionics sales outlets. All proceeds are credited back to your installation after deducting listing costs.

Avionics Upgrade.
AVEX’s premium avionics upgrade panel includes multiple Garmin systems, which are some of the most advanced avionics systems available today. The Garmin systems in our premium upgrade panel are designed to work seamlessly together, providing pilots with a comprehensive suite of avionics tools. This premium panel includes a Garmin G600 TXi touchscreen display; Garmin GTN 750Xi and GMC 35C displays; Garmin GFC600 digital autopilot; Garmin GTX 345 ADS-B in/out transponder; Garmin GI275 electronic flight instrument; Garmin Flightstream 510; Garmin GSB 15 USB power and charging; and an optional Garmin GWX 75R weather radar system, all of which are known for their reliability and accuracy.
The avionics panel upgrade installed by AVEX Aviation is one that has been meticulously engineered with consideration to ergonomics and safety. One of the biggest advantages regarding these considerations is the addition of the GFC-600 Digital Autopilot. Loss of control in-flight is the leading cause of accidents within general aviation, the features encompassed in the GFC-600 make loss of control in-flight nearly impossible. Garmin ESP (Electronic Stability and Protections) is a standard feature and works with the GFC-600 to assist you in maintaining your aircraft in a safe, flight-stable condition when the aircraft is being hand-flown. The ESP feature functions independently of the autopilot (though it uses the same control servos) to gently nudge the controls toward stable flight whenever pitch or roll deviations exceed the recommended limits or underspeed/overspeed conditions occur.
Additionally, the Garmin Flightstream system provides pilots with precise navigation information and wireless flightplan transfer which allows for more efficient flight planning and route execution. The system also includes real-time weather updates, enabling pilots to make informed decisions about their flight path and avoid potential hazards.
Finally, the Garmin GWX 75R weather radar system provides pilots with a detailed view of weather patterns and hazards, allowing them to make informed decisions about their flight path. The system is capable of detecting thunderstorms, turbulence, and other hazards in real time, providing pilots with the information they need to avoid potentially dangerous situations.
A common question revolving around avionics installation is: “What will my plane be worth after the installation?”. The asset value of the TBM is defined by two parameters, the value of the aircraft in the retail market, and secondly the liquidity of the product in the market. AVEX has a unique perspective on these components as a dominant player in the resale market. Our observations are data-driven and there is a significant amount of information that shows that aircraft with upgraded panels sell for significantly higher prices and sell with fewer days on the market. There is a demonstratable equitable return on a panel upgrade from a financial perspective. It is important to note, however, that the value attached to a panel is directly related to the quality of the panel installation and the engineering considerations for redundancy and ergonomics. Panels that do not have a high-quality installation with adequate redundancy and ergonomic considerations do not fair as well on the market.
Overall, AVEX’s premium avionics upgrade panel is a comprehensive solution for aircraft owners looking to modernize their cockpit and enhance their flying experience with advanced Garmin systems. We also include a Microkits landing height system that delivers a precise and perfect landing each time.

Software Upgrade.
Within the GTN 750 series touchscreen navigators, Garmin is pleased to announce many further technological advancements and new additional functionality. Pilots may now watch updated FIS-B weather products on the GTN using new software (version 6.62) and a compatible ADS-B “In” receiver. GTN software version 6.62 now includes all of these capabilities and more.
Pilots may now see the latest FIS-B weather products (where available) on the moving map alongside flight plan information and dedicated weather pages inside GTN 650/750 when linked with a suitable ADS-B “In” device such as GTX 345. Lightning, cloud tops, turbulence, ice (forecast potential), graphical AIRMETs (G-AIRMET), and center weather advisory (CWA) are among the new weather products. Garmin Pilot for Apple mobile devices and the aera 660 aviation portable are among the many Garmin products that already support these new weather products.
Software update Version 6.62 features:
Pilots who have SiriusXM Aviation Weather now have the option of switching between base reflectivity and composite reflectivity NEXRAD weather radar images.
Pilots flying LNAV approaches with the GTN 650/750 may now obtain advisory vertical guidance (LNAV+V) when flying into airports across the globe that are not supported by SBAS.
When datalink weather radar coverage is unavailable on the GTN 650/750, the "no coverage" region is now visible, allowing pilots to see airports, basemap data, and other information.
