Since joining AVEX Aviation in 2003, Brenda has consistently showcased her versatility and immense value to the organization. Her proactive approach has led her to acquire cross-training in various areas, including payroll, accounts receivable, inventory, and purchase orders. Brenda's extensive knowledge in financial matters, encompassing invoicing, banking, financial statements, cash flow analysis, and data analytics, makes her an invaluable asset to the company. Moreover, she possesses proficiency in reporting, advanced modeling techniques, basic HR practices, and transactional sales analysis. With her seniority, Brenda has played a pivotal role in establishing AVEX's corporate culture and has acted as a mentor to younger employees, contributing to the development of the Accounting and Parts Teams.
In addition to her wealth of experience, Brenda holds a bachelor's degree in International Business, further enriching her expertise and contributing to her comprehensive skill set. Her dedication, extensive knowledge, and mentorship capabilities make Brenda an indispensable member of the AVEX team.
Cecilia has been an invaluable member of AVEX Aviation since 2010, consistently demonstrating her commitment and expertise. Throughout her tenure, she has undergone cross-training in various areas, becoming adept at handling aircraft sale escrows and overseeing processes in the Parts Department. Utilizing her exceptional mathematical skills, Cecilia has developed a comprehensive parts purchasing policy that ensures an impressive 97% parts fill rate while effectively managing a $3.5M inventory.
In addition to her proficiency in purchasing and inventory management, Cecilia brings a wealth of experience in accounts payable and receivable, cash flow analysis, flight operations, sales tax filing, reconciliation, and budget forecasting. Her diverse skill set allows her to contribute to multiple aspects of AVEX Aviation's operations, ensuring efficient financial management and streamlined processes. Cecilia's dedication and expertise make her an invaluable asset to the company, consistently delivering exceptional results
Karina began her journey at AVEX Aviation in July 2020, joining the team as an accounting assistant. With a keen eye for numbers and a passion for finance, Karina quickly became an integral part of the company's financial operations. Her primary responsibilities encompassed various essential tasks, including managing cash flow, processing customer payments, overseeing account payable processing, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring seamless parts drop shipping. In addition to her existing role, Karina has recently embarked on a new endeavor by pursuing training in Aircraft Insurance.
Throughout her tenure, Karina's dedication and meticulousness in handling financial matters have earned her recognition as a reliable and diligent professional within Avex.
As the Workshop Administration Supervisor for AVEX Aviation's Colorado and California locations, Leesa brings over a decade of experience to the role. She started her career at AVEX as a maintenance quote specialist, mastering the avionic’s database update process for all TBM variants. She even developed a guide and trained numerous pilots and owners on the correct procedure.
Today, Leesa's responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance quoting process and ensuring its efficiency, as well as handling invoicing duties for AVEX's California facility. Her expertise in business administration and marketing, as evidenced by her Bachelor of Science degree, has made her an invaluable asset to the AVEX team.
In 2021, Jazmin became a part of Avex Aviation, taking on the role of a maintenance administration. Her main responsibility revolves around generating quotes for our California and Colorado facilities. Working closely with technicians, Jazmin ensures that accurate estimates are provided to our valued customers. She possesses a diverse skill set and actively supports various aspects of the department, including handling warranty claims, managing part returns, overseeing tool calibration, and assisting our logbook analyst in maintaining accurate records. As the newest addition to the Maintenance administration team, Jazmin has consistently exhibited exceptional diligence and dedication in her work, demonstrating her commitment to upholding Avex Aviation's standards of quality and excellence.
Geena Selle joined AVEX Aviation as the Human Resources Coordinator, bringing her expertise to enhance the HR function and make a positive impact on the organization. Since joining the company in Spring 2021, Geena has played a pivotal role in various HR responsibilities, including onboarding, recruiting, managing benefits, and cultivating positive employee relations. Her efforts significantly contribute to the seamless operation of the Camarillo facility. Geena maintains close collaboration with the HR team at NS Aviation Holdings to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices.
Geena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from CSUCI, providing her with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Geena's expertise, combined with her commitment to fostering a positive work environment, makes her a valuable asset to the AVEX team.
