The TBM Avionics

The Garmin G-600 has revolutionized the Socata TBM 700 and TBM 850 markets. The G-600 provides users with 75% of the functionality of a G-1000 and is the perfect way to bring a glass cockpit to your TBM 700 or 850.

AVEX is the Leader in G-600 installations, completing 40 installations to date* on all TBM models, including TBM 700A, 700B, 700C2 and the 850 Legacy. Maintaining over 1/4 of the TBM fleet has given AVEX a distinct advantage in the installation market. We are experts in Socata systems and wiring which aided us in developing proprietary software to quality check over 500 wires going to over 33 connectors

Each installation is a custom design to your specific aircraft and requirements. Our avionics team completes an initial panel survey which includes a review of the aircraft’s current equipment list. From this review we are able to design a quote around your requirements with the appropriate equipment. During this process we will discuss the options available for your installation such as:

* Jeppesen ChartView
* ADS-B Compliance
* RVSM Certification
* Right Hand GDU PFD/MFD
* and more

From these discussions, a quote can be generated and presented. The options are then explained once more and reviewed to clarify any remaining questions. Once you have approved the quote, we will begin the final preparation stages by discussing the panel layout options.

Prior to your arrival, we will submit the installation information to the DER (FAA designated engineering representative), and panel fabrication upon panel layout approval. Typically, the process takes about 2 weeks to receive approvals.

Throughout the installation process you will be kept up-to-date with the progress of your G-600 install through weekly progress reports. Upon completion, AVEX provides one-on-one ground and in the air training with one of our qualified pilots.

The basic installation package includes the right hand RVSM G-600, the L3 Genesis standby unit, Dual Garmin GTN 750’s, Flight Stream 510, remote audio panel GMA 35 and dual remote Garmin transponders, one of which meets ADS-B out requirements.

As a courtesy to you, we additionally provide sales services for your removed avionics equipment. Our avionics sales team lists your removed parts on various avionics sales outlets. All proceeds after sales listing fees are credited back to your installation.
