Dave's aviation career began as an F/A-18 Hornet avionics technician in the Navy. After 10 years of dedicated service, he joined AVEX Aviation, where he has spent over ten years working in the avionics field, rising to the position of lead avionics technician. Over the course of his employment, Dave has received numerous training awards from highly respected organizations such as Daher, Garmin, and the FAA, showcasing his exceptional skills and expertise.
In addition to his exceptional problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities on TBM aircraft, Dave is renowned for his ability to handle AOG situations over the phone or in person, as well as his eagerness to assist with rescuing aircraft in the field. Dave's passion for the TBM community is evident in his unwavering work ethic and commitment to delivering top-quality customer service and support. Alongside his avionics work, Dave also obtained a bachelor's degree in project management, highlighting his dedication to continuous improvement and expanding his skill set to better serve our clients. In 2014, Stan became a valuable member of the AVEX team, primarily focusing on Avionics. He possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge, having earned certifications from FAA, Garmin, and Daher. Since 2019, Stan has been serving as a lead technician and consistently adheres to a high standard of work when it comes to inspections, installations, upgrades, STCs, and troubleshooting.
Stan's commitment to excellence and exceptional work ethic have not gone unnoticed, as he was recognized by AMT Magazine as one of aviation's top 40 under 40 maintenance technicians. This recognition is a testament to Stan's dedication to his craft and his unwavering pursuit of perfection in every aspect of his work. David Zaworski joined our Broomfield location in 2023, assuming the position of Operations Director. In his role, David is responsible for overseeing Avex's Quality Assurance operations in BJC and CMA, as well as managing operations at FNL. With over 20 years of experience in Aviation Maintenance, Inspection, Quality, Safety, and Manufacturing, David brings a wealth of expertise to Avex Aviation.
Prior to joining us, David held the positions of Director of Maintenance and Sr. Director of Health and Safety Compliance at Air Methods. During his tenure there, he successfully led the Part 5 SMS accreditation process, which resulted in the company becoming part of the exclusive 1% of Part 135 operators approved in that regard. Additionally, David has led Part 119, 135, and 145 operations, and has amassed extensive experience working with various aircraft.
David holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He began his career in the US Marines, serving as a Heavy Helicopter Mechanic and Flight Crew member on CH-53E and CH-46 rotorcraft.
Bob takes great pride in delivering top-notch service to all TBM operators. His vast experience, combined with his commitment to excellence, ensures that he consistently provides the highest level of expertise and customer satisfaction.
Arlen joined the AVEX Aviation team in 1997 and has been an integral member ever since. Starting from 2002, Arlen has dedicated his efforts to logbook research and records management, specifically for the extensive fleet of TBM's under AVEX's care. His primary responsibility entails creating comprehensive work packets for fleet inspections.
With an Inspection Authorization rating to his credit, Arlen stands as the longest-serving member of the AVEX team, currently boasting an impressive tenure of 25 years.
Blake is highly regarded as a trusted and invaluable resource for AVEX's owners, particularly in matters pertaining to TBM aircraft operations. Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, further bolstering his expertise and skill set.
