Dave's aviation career began as an F/A-18 Hornet avionics technician in the Navy. After 10 years of dedicated service, he joined AVEX Aviation, where he has spent over ten years working in the avionics field, rising to the position of lead avionics technician. Over the course of his employment, Dave has received numerous training awards from highly respected organizations such as Daher, Garmin, and the FAA, showcasing his exceptional skills and expertise.

In addition to his exceptional problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities on TBM aircraft, Dave is renowned for his ability to handle AOG situations over the phone or in person, as well as his eagerness to assist with rescuing aircraft in the field. Dave's passion for the TBM community is evident in his unwavering work ethic and commitment to delivering top-quality customer service and support. Alongside his avionics work, Dave also obtained a bachelor's degree in project management, highlighting his dedication to continuous improvement and expanding his skill set to better serve our clients. At AVEX Aviation, we are proud to have such a talented and committed team member as Dave.

In 2014, Stan became a valuable member of the AVEX team, primarily focusing on Avionics. He possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge, having earned certifications from FAA, Garmin, and Daher. Since 2019, Stan has been serving as a lead technician and consistently adheres to a high standard of work when it comes to inspections, installations, upgrades, STCs, and troubleshooting.

Stan's commitment to excellence and exceptional work ethic have not gone unnoticed, as he was recognized by AMT Magazine as one of aviation's top 40 under 40 maintenance technicians. This recognition is a testament to Stan's dedication to his craft and his unwavering pursuit of perfection in every aspect of his work. At AVEX Aviation, we are privileged to have such a talented and accomplished team member as Stan.

David Zaworski joined our Broomfield location in 2023, assuming the position of Operations Director. In his role, David is responsible for overseeing Avex's Quality Assurance operations in BJC and CMA, as well as managing operations at FNL. With over 20 years of experience in Aviation Maintenance, Inspection, Quality, Safety, and Manufacturing, David brings a wealth of expertise to Avex Aviation.

Prior to joining us, David held the positions of Director of Maintenance and Sr. Director of Health and Safety Compliance at Air Methods. During his tenure there, he successfully led the Part 5 SMS accreditation process, which resulted in the company becoming part of the exclusive 1% of Part 135 operators approved in that regard. Additionally, David has led Part 119, 135, and 145 operations, and has amassed extensive experience working with various aircraft.

David holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He began his career in the US Marines, serving as a Heavy Helicopter Mechanic and Flight Crew member on CH-53E and CH-46 rotorcraft.

In the summer of 2019, Bob became a valued member of AVEX, bringing with him an impressive track record of over 40 years in the aviation industry. Throughout his career, he has held diverse roles that have contributed to his extensive expertise. Bob's journey began as an aviation technician in the U.S. Army, where he gained invaluable experience. He then transitioned to become the director of maintenance at a prominent corporate maintenance facility. Later, Bob worked as a technical sales representative at Pratt & Whitney, specializing in engine overhauls and repairs. Afterward, Bob embarked on a successful entrepreneurial venture, establishing himself as a self-employed engine specialist and consultant for over 25 years. During this time, he traveled extensively across the United States and internationally, providing his exceptional services. Bob's dedication to professional growth led him to earn an aviation degree and become a certified A&P / IA technician. Additionally, he achieved an instrument rating during his extensive tenure as an aircraft owner.

Bob takes great pride in delivering top-notch service to all TBM operators. His vast experience, combined with his commitment to excellence, ensures that he consistently provides the highest level of expertise and customer satisfaction.

BJ Hallinan has been involved in the aviation sector for over 30 years. He formerly lived in Port Townsend, Washington, where he served as the owner and director of maintenance of Port Townsend Aircraft Service since 2005. BJ began his aviation career while serving in the USMC. He worked on CH-53 and CH-47 helicopters from 1983 until 1987. Following his service from the Marine Corps, he relocated to Long Beach, California, where he worked as an A&P mechanic at the McDonald Douglas Aircraft Corporation until 1992. BJ left sunny California for the wonders of Wisconsin, where he worked as the crew supervisor of A&P mechanics at Central Wisconsin Aviation. As his career progressed, BJ accepted a position with Raytheon Aircraft Services in Rockford, Illinois. There, he focused on Beechcraft 1900 refurbishment. From 1997 to 2002, BJ excelled from mechanic to I.A., eventually becoming the Department Supervisor. BJ was appointed Director of Maintenance and Airport Manager at One Zero Charlie in Wonder Lake, Illinois, in 2002. After three years, he accepted the position of Director of Maintenance at Mountain High Aviation in Washington, where he handled the maintenance of a fleet of Cessna aircraft. He has spent the last 16 years providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of general aviation and business customers.

Arlen joined the AVEX Aviation team in 1997 and has been an integral member ever since. Starting from 2002, Arlen has dedicated his efforts to logbook research and records management, specifically for the extensive fleet of TBM's under AVEX's care. His primary responsibility entails creating comprehensive work packets for fleet inspections.

With an Inspection Authorization rating to his credit, Arlen stands as the longest-serving member of the AVEX team, currently boasting an impressive tenure of 25 years.

Blake joined AVEX Aviation in 2015 and currently holds two pivotal positions at the Broomfield facility: Facilities Manager and Chief Pilot. With an impressive eight years of experience flying TBMs, Blake has accumulated over 5,000 flight hours specifically in this aircraft. He holds certifications as a SEL (Single-Engine Land), Commercial, and Instrument-rated pilot. As the manager of AVEX pilots, Blake takes on the responsibility of recruiting, training, and scheduling the flight crew. His extensive knowledge of the TBM product line, including the distinctions between different models, plays a vital role in maintaining the highest level of quality and ensuring comprehensive test flight protocols.

Blake is highly regarded as a trusted and invaluable resource for AVEX's owners, particularly in matters pertaining to TBM aircraft operations. Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, further bolstering his expertise and skill set.
